 Happy Spring!
It's been quite awhile since our last post and so much has happened: The Mobile Clinic chassis will be ready sometime in September. After the build, it gets shipped out to Colorado Springs for the interior outfitting and body wrap by Save the Storks. We are getting close to being able to drive the Clinic to the places where women are making life or death decisions - to be there as the option for life. This is going to be the culmination of a dream. Don't we all serve a wonderful God? The Rise and Run (or walk!) funds will go towards the Mobile Clinic. The BBC is our second-biggest fundraiser and provides the funds needed to tide us over the summer months. Donate here or mail in a check made out to Aspire Together and send to our 56 Colchester Avenue, Burlington address. Or, Text-to-give (802) 277-7027. Donors giving $25.00 and over will get a receipt. And we need volunteers! If you are a prayer warrior and would like to dedicate part of your day to praying for the center while we are open, please let us know that you will be doing so. Choose a day or part of a day: we are open Monday - Thursday from 8:30-3:30. Mission Pre-born has found that having dedicated prayer warriors for their centers and for each member of the staff has made a dramatic change in the number of clients and the effectiveness of the centers! There are currently 6 staff and one regular volunteer here and each one of us needs our very own prayer warrior while we are here. On top of dedicated prayer needed for the center and workers, we need volunteers to man the phone lines overnight during the week and weekend to take calls. We need folks to answer for shifts and we have scripts for how to take those calls. If you feel the Lord's leading, please get hold of us. Again, Mission Pre-born has demonstrated that instead of a call center, having local people taking those off-hours calls makes a real difference in the number of appointments made!
