Well, it's been an interesting day so far. My devotional reading with my husband yesterday morning was titled: "When God says No". Waking up to an amendment to our state constitution that will usher in great evil and watching lost people taking positions of power, I have to say I was forewarned. So where does the ministry of Aspire Now go from here? As far as Article 22 passing as it pertains to us, there are many things that could happen. We are contacting the national pro-life organizations that we partner with, such as CareNet, Heartbeat International, Save the Storks, Alliance Defending Freedom, and more. We will be asking for guidance and hopefully legal wisdom as well. We appreciate your prayers for wisdom and discernment moving forward. We also need prayer to shield us from frivolous lawsuits and violence against this peaceable ministry. With the legislature in Montpelier still solidly Democratic/Progressive, we fully expect that a bill that was tabled this past session will be brought back for consideration against us. We are speaking of H.634: An act relating to pregnancy center fraud. This act is assuming guilt and is meant to directly target centers such as ours and to put us out of business. We won't stop or back down. God has created and ordained all life and said it is good. As your local missionaries for the last 37 years, we are in a fierce spiritual battle.
