This is the new battlefield: it's been rightfully dubbed "Death by Mail".   Women will very soon be able to order the pills that induce an abortion, without even a cursory medical exam to determine if the pregnancy is actually in the womb, or if the woman is as far along as she thinks she is.  The risks of reversing the safety checks currently in place are enormous and put both  baby and mother at risk.  If a woman has an ectopic pregnancy for example and doesn't know it,  she could have fatal complications that she has been told are a normal part of the chemical abortion process.   What can we do to combat this?

The first 5K Rise and Run is under our belts and we think it was a success!  Even though it was a hot, muggy day, runners and walkers alike seemed to have a great time and we're already making plans for changes to create an even more fun experience next year!

​The funding for the mobile clinic is coming in and we are getting closer to our goal, thanks to all of you.  If you haven't had a chance to donate toward this great cause, please consider doing so?  We are at the point where we have the funds for the chassis, which will be built in September.  Then the remaining funding will help us send the chassis to Colorado Springs, where the interior will be outfitted as a clinic and the exterior wrap will be installed.  Then our Executive Director Deb Couture and our Nurse Lynne Caulfield will be driving it back to VT to begin to save lives!
