This is the new battlefield: it's been rightfully dubbed "Death by Mail". Women will very soon be able to order the pills that induce an abortion, without even a cursory medical exam to determine if the pregnancy is actually in the womb, or if the woman is as far along as she thinks she is. The risks of reversing the safety checks currently in place are enormous and put both baby and mother at risk. If a woman has an ectopic pregnancy for example and doesn't know it, she could have fatal complications that she has been told are a normal part of the chemical abortion process. What can we do to combat this? Please watch this docu-series. Arm yourself with the knowledge to fight back against the lies of the abortion industry. Share it as well. We don't have the money, the power or the connections to fight on their battlefield. What we DO have is the Lord and His power. Keeping our eyes firmly fixed on Him and walking forward, we ask you to join us in prayer and educate as many people as possible about this evil. We must stand firm on His promises and fight the good fight for the unborn and their families! This is brought to you by Students for Life and Heartbeat International: Watch the Docu-Series

The first 5K Rise and Run is under our belts and we think it was a success! Even though it was a hot, muggy day, runners and walkers alike seemed to have a great time and we're already making plans for changes to create an even more fun experience next year! Our top three winners were: 1st place: Ravi Kaufman 2nd place: Charlotte Murphy & 3rd place: Allie Gratton We had a fun group of walkers and a VT celebrity: Mr. Guy Page, editor/publisher of Vermont Daily! We were so impressed that Nathan Plourde (#24) went out and got sponsors on his own, which was a big blessing. Floral arrangement gifts were made by our Development Director Alethea and we had many wonderful sponsors (listed below). Please be sure to make a note of them and patronize their businesses! Our fantastic sponsors: SeaComm Credit Union, Chittenden Dental, Burlington Bagel Bakery, Brilliant Massage & Skin, The Scale, The Links at Lang Farm, Archie's Grill, Whimsical, Floral, & Watermelon, A Little Something, Atomic's Custom Creations, Starbucks at Maple Tree Place and Morning Light Bakery _______________________ The funding for the mobile clinic is coming in and we are getting closer to our goal, thanks to all of you. If you haven't had a chance to donate toward this great cause, please consider doing so? We are at the point where we have the funds for the chassis, which will be built in September. Then the remaining funding will help us send the chassis to Colorado Springs, where the interior will be outfitted as a clinic and the exterior wrap will be installed. Then our Executive Director Deb Couture and our Nurse Lynne Caulfield will be driving it back to VT to begin to save lives!
Additionally, we will need to come up with $65,000 per year to fund the clinic being on the road. (This amount includes the staff accompanying the clinic, the upkeep such as gas, registration, mechanical needs, etc.) So as you can see, your donation can come in at anytime and be put to good use! If you can donate, please make sure you mark your donation for the mobile clinic, so we know where to apply it. Thank you, please keep this endeavor in prayer; we really appreciate it! |
