More Banquet and What God says...

Here are a few shots of staff, volunteers and guests at the Banquet - we will be asking next year for guests to provide us with a variety candid shots to choose from! Generally, we are whirling around trying to keep things running during the event so that would be a fun way to volunteer next year (hint, hint).

Questions about when human life begins are not personal. Sorry, Planned Parenthood. They are objective and scientific. There is life in an egg and in a sperm, but they are not human beings yet because each has only half of the human DNA needed for a human being. That all changes when they join. From the moment of the joining, there is a human being. To allow every individual to say when human life begins is anarchy. That is emotion and feelings, not biological fact. Can you imagine if a surgeon could operate on you and remove a healthy kidney because he or she decided that was really the diseased heart that was making you ill? And as far as personhood, the supporters of abortion (because the unborn baby is not really a person, you know) join the supporters of slavery and the Holocaust. The legal systems of earlier America and of Nazi Germany did not recognize the personhood of slaves or Jews either. Planned Parenthood promotes moral relativism because it advances their agenda, but it is not scientific fact.
